About
I grew up watching my mom spread out garment patterns on the dining room table to sew after work, but I didn't touch a sewing machine until my mid-thirties. By then, my mom had discovered quilting and opened a fabric shop. I worked with her on the weekends and totally fell in love with all things quilting. Very soon, I started teaching classes, designing small projects and bought a longarm.
Over the past twenty years, I have developed my quilt business while working full-time as a high school teacher and now as a training developer in state government. I am so grateful for the friends I've made along the way and I can't wait to learn more from others who are Quilting on the Side!
